۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

وإذا حُوِّلَتْ أبصار رجال الأعراف جهة أهل النار قالوا: ربنا لا تُصيِّرنا مع القوم الظالمين بشركهم وكفرهم.

«وإذا صرفت أبصارهم» أي أصحاب الأعراف «تلقاء» جهة «أصحاب النار قالوا ربنا لا تجعلنا» في النار «مع القوم الظالمين».

And when their eyes are turned toward the companions of the Fire, they say, "Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
