وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ

واستعلى فرعون وجنوده في أرض "مصر" بغير الحق عن تصديق موسى واتِّباعه على ما دعاهم إليه، وحسبوا أنهم بعد مماتهم لا يبعثون.

«واستكبر هو وجنوده في الأرض» أرض مصر «بغير الحق وظنوا أنهم إلينا لا يرَجِعون» بالبناء للفاعل وللمفعول.
