فكان عاقبة أمر الشيطان والإنسان الذي أطاعه فكفر، أنهما في النار، ماكثَيْن فيها أبدًا، وذلك جزاء المعتدين المتجاوزين حدود الله.

تفسير الجلالين

«فكان عاقبتهما» أي الغاوي والمغوي وقرئ بالرفع اسم كان «أنهما في النار خالدين فيها وذلك جزاء الظالمين» أي الكافرين.

So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers.
